Lee Foster’s extensive travel photography can be useful both to editors and to consumers. Lee has 6,000 digital images online for his 250 worldwide locations, and the number is increasing. Many photos have been added recently from his new books on San Francisco and on Washington, D.C.
Editors in both print and web situations can license photos from Lee’s extensive travel stock photo collection. Editors can contact Lee, arrive at an understanding on price, and receive permission as Trusted Clients to make immediate hi-res downloads. This can be particularly useful when an editor is under a tight deadline.
Consumers may wish to order prints of photographs, to purchase products made of photos (such as greeting cards), or, by arranging an inexpensive personal use license, to make prints on their own or use the images in school projects or on blogs. Payments from consumers are made through PayPal and start at only $1.99 for personal use licenses.
Consumers can select a photo, move it to the Shopping Cart, and see the options for Prints, Products (such as the greeting cards), and Licenses (consumers would select Personal Use, editors select Commercial License).
All these activities occur on Lee’s dedicated photo selling site at PhotoShelter, with the access at
